One of the most sought after wedding locations must be Luss Church in Luss village. The Church is steeped in history and thelocalvillage has stunning scenery and cannot be compared to any other village in Scotland. The minister provides an excellent and meaningful service and the Beadle makes your day as smooth as the icing on your wedding cake.
For that all important ceremony The Reverend Miller is a legend within the locals (and further afield). He truly makes each ceremony unique and personal but fun and interesting at the same time. I cannot recommend a minister more, he married my wife and I and I believe that is the best recommendation I could provide! He can be contacted at Bonhill Church or by email - ianmiller at bonhillchurch dot freeserve dot co dot uk.
What about a wedding on Loch Lomond itself? Sweeney’s Cruises are the largest cruise operators on Loch Lomond and can cater for all your requirements. They have two vessels, the Silver Marlin and the Astina, which are large enough to cater for wedding ceremonies on the Loch.

For a uniquely different venue, the Maid of the Loch provides a static paddle steamer to hold small wedding ceremonies and receptions right on the shores of Loch Lomond. The "Maid", as she is affectionately known locally, used to cruise on Loch Lomond before being left to the elements. Fortunately a few enthusiasts got together with the district council to form the Maid of the Loch Trust back in 1996. She is now well on the way to being restored to her former glory.
For the Groom (or Bride!) a speedboat ride on the glassy loch can be exhilarating. It is undoubtedly the most exciting way to experience Loch Lomond. Cruise slowly throughout the many islands or travel much faster in open waters. This is an experience not to be missed and everyone will enjoy the magnificent views and constantly changing scenery! Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland can provide all of this and can be contacted at http://www.lochlomond-scotland.com.
While at Loch Lomond, why not take complete advantage of the stunning scenery with a sea plane flight provided by Loch Lomond Sea Planes. Loch Lomond Seaplanes, the UK’s only commercial seaplane tour service, voted by the Scots as the country’s top “must do” activity, is a breathtaking travel experience.Even better, why not make it your high mile destination for a unique wedding ceremony location!
With Ben Lomond in the distance and the Loch sparkling in the sun, a piper would complete your Scottish theme. I recommend only one piping service, as you cannot improve on perfection. Colin Laurie (01389 731977) operates a complete and professional service with only the requirements of the bride and groom in mind.
